Avoca staff members are dedicated to meeting the social, emotional, and academic needs of our students. With this in mind, we have partnered with the Tennessee Behavior Supports Project through Vanderbilt University to offer a multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS).
We are committed to teaching and reinforcing positive behavior, and we believe all children can learn appropriate behavior if sufficient and supportive opportunities are provided. Part of our program includes a library of videos created by our staff to demonstrate what appropriate behavior does and does not look like.
